A beautiful architect designed villa from the early 60’s is complemented with two building volumes docked on the roof tops. The new functions include a beautiful parlour with built-in furniture and a view of the inlet. A dressing room and bathroom sit adjacent to the peaceful master bedroom. From the parlour and bedroom roof terraces stretch out in two directions. The sooty yellow brick of the original building is paired with the addition’s copper cladding which will patina beautifully with age. The new facades are composed of vertical window slits connected to elongated sky lights, creating a dynamic day light effect throughout the course of the day.

Nominated for Nacka Urban Development Award 2011
