Quirón Salud Madrid Hospital

The new hospital is located in Pozuelo de Alarcón, to the west of Madrid, on a corner site bordered by regional highway infrastructures. The building is conceived as an articulation between the natural landscape in transformation and the low-rise buildings already existing.

The façades give a clear image of the building which makes it easy to identify from a distance and creates a landmark in the region. The functional distribution is projected according to intensity of use; for this reason, the hospitalization area is to the south, with good sunlight and views towards the new landscaped plaza, with less noise impact. The activities of greater intensity are developed with views towards the neighbouring streets.
