With an innovative approach, the design of the new hospital integrates high-tech spaces with children’s games, creating an accessible and sustainable environment. The complex will include an auditorium, offices, humanization areas, therapeutic gardens, children’s play areas, urban gardens and an educational farm. It will be equipped with 437 beds, 14 operating rooms, advanced nuclear medicine technology and robotic systems for neonatal and pediatric surgery.

The hospital will be a benchmark in innovation, focusing on telemedicine, artificial intelligence, 3D printing and a scientific research center. It will also implement sustainability strategies with solar panels, recycled materials and green spaces. The rooms will be designed to be accessible, inclusive and comfortable, with views of Vesuvius or the sea, and equipped with interactive technology.

Construction will begin in 2025 and the hospital is expected to be operational in two and a half years, positioning itself as a pediatric reference center and a model of sustainability and innovation for Italy and Europe.
