Miyakonojo Kindergarten is an accredited kindergarten provides a "Montessori education" that values children's spontaneity and that helps develop the five senses, which are the basis for intellectual activities. In Montessori education, children choose what they want to do. So we thought it was necessary to have a variety of places where children can discover the place they want to spend their time.
In order to create such a space, we proposed a composition in which each of the elements that make up the architecture, such as walls, roofs, pillars, and furniture, are independent and overlapping. By shifting the boundaries of the realm, we aim to create a space where places with different qualities converge.
