HENN

Christian Bechtle studied at TU Berlin and IUAV in Venice. Prior to joining HENN in 1991, Christian Bechtle worked in Berlin, Munich and London. Since 2003, Christian Bechtle has led the project studio in Munich. In 2008 he was made partner.

Patrick Bröll studied Architecture at Munich Technical University and graduated in 2000. During his studies and subsequently afterwards he worked for Herzog + Partner in Munich. Since he was starting to work for HENN in 2007 he supervised projects in Dubai and China as well as in topics of science, research and industry. He was made Partner at HENN in 2018.

Tanja Dietsch studied Architecture at University of Applied Sciences / Westsächsische Fachhochschule Zwickau and graduated in 2003. Subsequently she worked at Haack + Höpfner and joined HENN in 2010 working for the Quantity Surveying (QS). In 2018 she was made Partner and leads the QS team.

Martin Erdinger finshed his architecture studies in 1992 at the University of Applied Sciences Würzburg-Schweinfurt. Subsequently to his education he worked in a Munich architects office specialised in hospital and healthcare projects. Since 1994 Martin Erdinger works for HENN and has a leading position in planning and construction supervision of several major projects. In 2009 he started to lead the interanal quality management as Head of Approving as well as the internal HENN academy. He was made Partner in 2018.

Daniel Festag studierte Architektur an der Technischen Universität Delft und der Bauhausuniversität Weimar und schloss 2000 sein Studium ab. Bevor er 2009 zu HENN kam, arbeitete er bei KCAP in Rotterdam und Perkins + Will in Chicago.

Daniel Festag ist seit 2020 Partner bei HENN und leitet eines der Projekt Studios in Berlin.

Marcus Fissan studied at the Technical University of Braunschweig where he received his diploma in 1995. Before joining HENN, Marcus Fissan worked on various projects, including his time with Herzog + Partner, Munich in 1998. In 2005 Marcus Fissan joined HENN. He was made partner in 2011 and leads the Berlin Office.

Andreas Fuchs studied Architecture at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences. After two years of freelance work, he started an additional Architecture study at Dresden Technical University where he graduated in 2000. He has been working at HENN since 2002 on several projects and is leading the Programmng team since 2008. In 2018 he was made Partner.

Hans Funk studied architecture at the University of Applied Science Aachen in Germany, where he received his Diploma in 1995. Prior to HENN he worked for architects such as Böhm in Cologne and Vasconi in Paris. Hans Funk is working for HENN in Germany and China and became Partner in 2017.

After studying architecture at Regensburg University of Applied Sciences and his graduation in 1997 Joachim Grund worked for architecture offices in Nuremberg, Munich and Rotterdam and has outstanding competencies particularly in the field of renovation projects. He joined HENN in 2009 and became Partner in 2017.

Martin Henn studied architecture at the University of Stuttgart and at the ETH, Zurich. He received his Master’s Degree in Architecture from the ETH, Zurich in 2006, and his Post-Professional Master of Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University, New York in 2008. Prior to HENN, he was working for Zaha Hadid Architects inLondon and Asymptote Architecture in New York. Martin Henn is Head of Design at HENN. In 2012 he was made partner.

Gunter Henn was born in Dresden in 1947 and studied architecture and structural engineering in Munich and Berlin. He is the chairman of HENN. He founded the office in Munich in 1979 and is the successor of the office of Walter Henn. Since 1994, Gunter Henn has been a visiting professor at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Cambridge. Gunter Henn managed the chair in industrial construction and the Centre for Knowledge Architecture at the Technical University of Dresden.

Katrin Jacobs studied Interior Design at Rosenheim University of Applied Sciences. Following her diploma graduation in 2001 she worked on several renovation and restoration projects of high-class private clients together with the Munich based architect Nico Wallner. In late 2006 she joined HENN and established the Interior Design department which she leads since that time as well as additionally was made Partner in 2018.

Georg Pichler studied architecture at the Technical University of Munich in 1988. Prior to joining HENN in 1993, he worked in the office of Prof. Theodor Hugues in Munich. Georg Pichler was made partner in 2011. Since 2012, he has managed offices in both Beijing and Shanghai.

Stefan Sinning studied architecture at the Technical University in Munich and graduated in 1992. Prior to joining HENN in 2002, he worked for Foster + Partners in London and Herzog + Partner. Stefan Sinning was made partner in 2008, was up to 2011 head of the berlin office and since 2012 has headed the office in Munich.

Rainer Sladek studied interior design at the University of Applied Sciences in Rosenheim. Since 1997 he works at HENN in Berlin and Munich as project manager for projects in Germany, China, Dubai and Australia. Since 2011 partner for corporate communications, Rainer is today responsible for business development.

Werner Sonnleitner studied business administration at the University of Regensburg and received his diploma in 1991. Since 1996 he has been working for HENN. His responsibilities include the commercial project management, contract management as well as the finances for all national and international projects. Werner Sonnleitner was made partner in 2013.

After studying architecture at the University of Applied Sciences in Nürnberg. Berthold Staber worked at architecture offices of von Gerkan, Marg und Partner, Foster + Partners and Bothe, Richter, Teherani. He joined HENN in 2007 and became Partner in 2017.

Following his studies at Technical University (TU) Munich, Thomas von Küstenfeld worked as an architect for several construction projects in Munich. Constitutively and subsequently to his previous activities the passion for digital planning developed into a main topic of his overall work field, lastly as VP Customer Relations at a leading supplier of construction software. Since 2015 Thomas von Küstenfeld works at HENN and leads the Design Systems team. Being a specialist for digital processes as well as BIM (Building Information Modeling) he is given a primary function in the office and has been made Partner in 2018.

Fredrik Werner studied architecture at Innsbruck Technical University and Munich Technical University where he gratuated in 2003. After working for Auer und Weber (Munich) and Sandell Sandberg (Stockholm) Fredrik Werner joined HENN in 2003. He is Design Director of the Design studio in Munich and Partner since 2017.
