Luis Gotor

Luis Gotor is an associate architect and Deputy Director of Operations at PMMT Forward Thinking Healthcare Architecture, a company specialized in advanced and highly complex healthcare architecture, with twenty-five years of experience in the healthcare sector and more than 2,500,000 m2 designed over 3 continents. He joined PMMT in 2005 and has held various positions within the company, becoming associate in late 2017. He has been part of the design team for more than twenty major projects and multiple national and international competitions, as a result of which PMMT has won 29 first prizes in national and international healthcare architecture competitions, and 15 awards for its national and international work.
Luis is graduated from the ETSAB at Barcelona, master's degree in Architecture, Organization and Management of Hospital Infrastructures (CEU Universidad San Pablo, Madrid), and an expert in Universal Accessibility and in Parametric Design. He led the research project ‘The Parametric Hospital’ which was granted with an official patent in 2016 along with the construction company Makiber. Since 2013, the Parametric Design has been implemented in the design of 8 hospitals in South America and Africa.
Patricio Martínez

Patricio Martínez is the Managing Partner at PMMT Forward Thinking Healthcare Architecture.
In 2001, along with the architect Maximià Torruella, he founded PMMT Forward Thinking Healthcare Architecture, a company specialized in the conception and development of advanced and sustainable hospitals and sanitary equipment. The company has offices in Madrid and Barcelona, and a team of more than 45 professionals. He has led more than twenty major projects and multiple national and international competitions, as a result of which PMMT has won 29 first prizes in national and international healthcare architecture competitions, and 15 awards for his national and international work. Among others: 2014 International Architecture FAD Award, IX BIAU International Biennial of Architecture and Urbanism Award, finalist at 2018 International Architecture FAD Award, selected at 2019 Interior Design FAD Award.
Patricio is graduated from the ETSAB at Barcelona and specializes on new hospital typologies. He currently designs hospitals specialized in socio-health care, sports medicine, regenerative medicine, assisted reproduction, and diagnostic imaging, as well as complex general hospitals.
For three years, he has been a professor at BAU School for third-year courses Projects: housing and Projects: restoration.
In 2015 he co-directed the postgraduate course LA ARQUITECTURA DEL HOSPITAL DEL S.XXI, organized by Escola Sert and Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya (UPC). In 2016 he became professor of this postgraduate course.
In 2018 he became co-director and main teacher at the master degree HEALTHCARE SPACE DESIGN, organized by Escola Universitària Elisava, IDEC-Universitat Pompeu Fabra.
