Within overall redesign of Glóries Commercial Centre - Phase III
El Mercat is the new, trendy and hip place to meet within its neighborhoods and is part of the Glóries Commercial Centre aiming to adapt to Barcelona´s modern city, its residents and its surrounding.
Being the new market underground and accessible through the street, centre or through a glass staircase which connects the Mercat with the Street, it was clear from the start that the ceiling was one of the most important parts of the project having to feel light, fun and be able to adapts thought the day.
