Urban Plan for Pont Reixat’s Industrial State
Carretera Reial, Sant Just Desvern
The assignment questions the possibility to reconnect Pont Reixat’s industrial state with the city, through the infrastructure areas around it. The project points a strip along the outline of the industrial state that could become the catalytic element of such intervention. Alongside this strip of land we propose the reparcelling of that area with orthogonal units that will be built by steps, as the actual owners abandon they’re current activities. Such way to rearrange the industrial state is flexible, according to the needs of each parcel. The volumes proposed are aligned with the main street and they create a height game between each other. The two highest towers shall be the most representative elements of this area, being the new modern benchmarks for Sant Just.
