Light of the East-West fusion façade that illuminates Fifth Avenue in New York, with the Empire State Building as the background.

We carried out the renovation of an office building located in a corner of Midtown Manhattan.
Overlooking the Empire State Building in the distance, this building occupies a central position that geographically and culturally connects New Jersey to the west and New York to the east.
ALG designed the project by incorporating not only these geographic and cultural characteristics but also elements of both Eastern and Western light.
Under strict conditions with power consumption restrictions, and in an area where few exterior façade lights are present, we achieved an unprecedented spatial expression using only linear lighting.
Each linear lighting circuit is meticulously divided and configured, allowing finely controlled lighting scenes that change according to the time of day.
The façade light, constantly evolving over time, reflects the synthesis of East- (New York) and West- (New Jersey) side cultures rooted in this area. It also connects to the adjacent buildings through a gradient of light.
