Sustainable architecture in the Alps

The Tauern Land Villa - an exclusive residential ensemble that combines traditional architecture with modern elements - is being built amidst the impressive mountains of the Grossarl Valley. The architecture takes up the alpine building tradition and reinterprets it: natural materials, energy-efficient construction and a minimalist design language create a harmonious interplay with the surroundings.

The building houses three individual residential units that impress with their well thought-out floor plans and spacious room concepts. The first floor apartment offers direct access to a spacious terrace and thus creates a connection to nature. Inside, a private sauna provides a relaxing retreat, while high-quality materials create a luxurious living experience. On the upper floor is a compact, stylish apartment with an open-plan living and dining area, perfect for singles or couples. The largest of the three residential units extends over two levels and combines spacious living areas with a private wellness oasis. Spacious terraces with panoramic views bring nature indoors and offer a unique living experience.

The construction follows a sustainable concept that relies on modern lightweight timber construction. The construction is made of wood, complemented by durable materials such as porcelain stoneware and high-quality natural stone surfaces. Wood as the central building material not only reduces the weight of the building, but also improves the indoor climate and minimizes energy consumption. The use of innovative insulating materials and triple-glazed windows creates light-flooded rooms with a pleasant atmosphere that are characterized by high energy efficiency. Underfloor heating with smart controls and a sustainable heat supply ensure low operating costs and resource-saving energy use.

The Tauern Land Villa combines aesthetic clarity with a deep understanding of sustainable building. The harmonious integration into the alpine landscape, the combination of tradition and modernity and the focus on natural materials create an extraordinary living experience that is both timeless and forward-looking.
