"nature as a resource and inspiration"
On the industrial historically significant area of Maggi, the flavour and fragrance manufacturer Givaudan extends its research center. It creates space for 290 jobs in the field of research and development. The new laboratory buildings surround an atrium that serves as a common space for encounters and exchanges. Execution is carried out in accordance with the sustainability standard «LEED Gold», to meet strict sustainability requirements for resource-efficient construction and low operating costs. Another highlight of the Innovation Center are the 12m green columns with ornamental plants. That the plants thrive healthy indoors a special luminaire was designed following the biophilic approach and providing the right light spectrum.
