Fausto Ferrara

Circle is a private gallery conceived as a ring: a continuous perimeter that protects and measures a central space dedicated to the equestrian statue. The visit becomes circumambulation—approaching, distancing and recomposing the artwork through sequence. A large oculus opens the sky above the central void, making light a measure of time. Material is used by subtraction: wall, roof and threshold construct silence and concentration without effects.
