Caramel Architekten

Around 60 colored concrete cuboids in black and yellow adorn the forecourt of the Kunstuniversität Linz on Hauptplatz. Designed by Caramel Architekten, this gift from the Kunstuniversität Linz to all Linzers is intended to invite them to linger and at the same time strengthen the visibility of the educational institution in the urban space. Inspired by the temporary seating steps at the same location during "Linz 09", then also penned by Caramel, this newly created form of street furniture is intended to open up the Kunstuniversität Linz as well as the "splace am Hauptplatz" to the Hauptplatz - and vice versa.
