Generations embedded in nature –
On the border between Berlin and Brandenburg, a new neighbourhood is taking shape - diverse, for all generations, and almost car-free. BFA is one of four architecture firms involved in this forward-looking project. Out of the 900 planned apartments, 178 along with 20 commercial units were designed by us.
A landmark building, shaped to follow the bend of the road, forms the entrance to the neighbourhood. Behind it, a lively group of buildings opens up - different types of housing are arranged around urban greenery. This creates a place where people of all ages can live together, surrounded by nature, with space to meet and connect.
