New construction building Starnberger Flügelbahnhof – central station Munich
The new train station building and the redesigned train station plaza are transformed to a representative and inviting city entrance and form a flowing transition from downtown area up to the train tracks. The multiple tracks of the German Rail and the Munich subway system located on several levels are to be staged in a lively manner. Extensive commerce and professional services are situationed on various levels above and below grade. Office spaces and a hotel occupy the two wings as well as a building block that spans the entire train station hall.
