Bioclimatic Homes in Les Borges Blanques

The project consisted building housing for four bioclimatic homes and two commercial locales in Les Borges Blanques, Lleida. This is a ground floor building, plus 2 standard floors, plus a loft and a basement. The ground floor and basement floors are intended for commercial use (local) while the first, second and loft levels are designated for housing. The project aimed to furnish the housing with habitable conditions and comfort and strength parameters which modern buildings must meet while also providing it with a high degree of sustainability and energy efficiency. The project plans took advantage of the area designated for the stairs, home access landings and the airshaft, converting it all into a single outside space with greater dimensions that will become a place for interaction between the building’s users while ensuring more and better lighting and natural ventilation for the dwellings.
