We conducted thorough consultations with the client and designers to create a lighting environment in the medical space that is gentle on both the mind and body for patients and staff.

The smooth texture of the plaster walls softly diffuses natural light from the north-facing glass façade as well as indirect lighting, creating a bright and calming atmosphere in the waiting area.

Upper-mounted uplights installed above openings and over the central area of the laboratory utilize circadian lighting with sky-blue Azul light. The reflected light adds a sense of depth to the corridor, creating an immersive experience reminiscent of the Blue Cave.
In the treatment rooms, we employed high CRI lighting with a Ra value above 90. By combining multiple downlights with shelf-integrated indirect lighting, we created a comfortable visual environment that minimizes glare.

This project demonstrates the potential of lighting to serve as a key element in supporting human-centered design across diverse sectors, including education, offices, residential, and public spaces.
