Creixell Municipal Market

The building that houses de Municipal Market is organized in two levels with an irregular shape, adapting itself to the borders of the site. Lengthwise, the building stands as close as possible to the north limit of the site, leaving a free space that will serve as an outside parking area. In what concerns about its functional program, the building is structured in two specific areas: the one that houses de municipal market with its support areas, and the one with the supermarket. The access to the market is made by two opposite and distinguished points. The access to the parking deck located on the rooftop is located on the west side of the building, as well as the loading dock. From each entrance to the market one reaches a central patio, from which is possible to reach all the market stands. On this central area one also finds the vertical communication core that gives access to the parking area on the rooftop.
