Open Centre of Tarragona

The project is located on a departmentally-owned site, which is located in an area of growth in the form of a widening that starts from the Plaça de les Corts Catalanes, adjacent to the Francolí river park. The general envelope of the project generates a light, textured element that rests on a dark plinth. This strategy is translated at a constructive level into two differentiated materialities: exposed brickwork on the ground floor and a curved ceramic piece in the upper body.
