Fire station
The facade, a double envelope with a exterior surface composed by fiberglass planels of different colours, gives the characteristic image of the building. The communication tower is a distinctive element.
The fiberglass, proposed for the helipad’s structure and the pavement , the communication tower structure and the ventilated facade offer a series of qualities that makes it convenient, such as: high mechanical performance, light weight, easy transformation, 0 maintenance, corrosion resistance, UVA protection, thermal and electrical insulation , sunlight permeability, electromagnetic transparency, plastic possibility of pigmentation, etc.
The project takes advantage of the program and the materials in order to reach an identity that distinguishes its immediate environment.
