We start from a historic house on Las Ramblas in Barcelona. The intervention involves a renovation and interior design. Previously, a renovation was carried out on this property, and our focus is primarily on updating the bathrooms and the kitchen, as well as giving it a general facelift where elements from the previous renovation are also renewed.
A fundamental concept is the treatment of materiality based on traces of the past. This is mainly evident in the flooring. The project also includes detailed furnishing of the interior and exterior. The wood remains in its natural state, and lighting is enhanced through the use of colors and interior design. It's a project meticulously planned to make the most of the limited available space. Details have been considered to emphasize maximum comfort, such as the natural stone flooring in the shower or the comfort of the furniture.
