L'Hospitalet Housing
L'Hospitalet de Llobregat
The project is located in L’Hospitalet de Llobregat and defines a new multi-family housing building of 37 dwellings. The main criteria that marked the development of the formal conception of the project were: economy, maintenance, sustainability, flexibility and sunlight.
The building has a basement, ground floor and up to 5 storeys in the higher part. It is staggered at the top to create terraces with unbeatable orientation as an added value to the penthouses on the upper floors.
The typology of the dwellings, for the most part, is of through dwellings, as this allows optimising the buildability and maximising the number of dwellings with cross ventilation. The night areas face north-east, while the day areas benefit from a south-west orientation enhanced by generous terraces. The courtyards and wet areas are concentrated in a central strip.
